In 2007 Gabriel was selected to perform at the HBO/TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas.

 In 2008 he made his debut on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio show, as well as the Bob and Tom T.V. show on WGN America.

In 2009 Gabriel appeared on "Live at Gotham" on Comedy Central.

Gabriel’s material often takes an honest and self-deprecating look at his own life including his marriage. “Really there is nothing better for you as a couple, then to be out of shape. Eventually you just get to the point where you say “Well honey
looks like we’ve eaten ourselves into a monogamous relationship.” And his finances. “Looks like my son is gonna get free school lunch just like his daddy…and his grandpa. We’ve got free school lunch all the way back to the Mayflower. It’s a proud family. We came over on the short boat.”
